WHEN three-year-old Jordan Ashton heard his playgroup was in need of funds, he rose to the occasion.
And when it came to making good on his pledge, young Jordan gave a brilliant bouncing performance.
The youngster climbed aboard his space hopper and completed 60 bounces in 60 seconds for the Lowson Street Pre-School Playgroup, in Harrowgate Hill, Darlington.
Playgroup leader Maureen Spencer-Brown was given the head-spinning job of counting the bounces that would help pay for a new play tunnel.
Helper Sheena Peacock said: "He's raised £45, which is quite a good amount for a little boy.
"No-one's done it off their own backs for us before."
