Raising money for breast cancer has become a mountainous challenge for North-East man Steve Coupland.
Mr Coupland, from Darlington, has set himself the challenge of raising £10,000 for Breast Cancer Care, the charity which offers support to all breast cancer sufferers.
As part of the challenge Mr Coupland, whose wife Christine was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 1998, is planning to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Anyone who can help him with sponsorship can contact (01325) 264273.
