Guisborough suffered their second successive defeat in the last over when they lost by four wickets at Northallerton on Saturday.
Put into bat first again, they lost prolific scorer Graham Shaw for just one run. But with skipper Richard Dunn's 75, an undefeated 52 from Gary Bolton and with support coming from Ramage 26 and Clifford 21, they reached a total of 213 for eight.
Northallerton professional Jonathan Barnes bowled throughout the innings to claim four for 93. Barnes completed a fine man of the match performance by scoring 96 not out and with support from Wake with 42, Northallerton clinched victory in an exciting finish with the winning runs coming off the last ball.
