EUROPE'S largest Army garrison will be flexing its muscle tomorrow with a spectacular display of heavy artillery.
The Catterick Garrison millennium open day in North Yorkshire is hoping to be one of the largest one-day shows the region has ever seen.
Nearly 10,000 people flocked to the first open day, staged at Marne Barracks last year, raising more than £16,000 for Army and local charities.
And this year, many of the British Army's big guns will be rolled out for visitors to see.
Among the star attractions will be the Army's largest piece of artillery, the AS90, and youngsters will also have the chance to enjoy a ride in the 30-tonne Warrior armoured fighting vehicle.
Admission to Marne Barracks is £5 per car and visitors on foot pay £1 per adult, 50p children. The show is open from 10am to 5pm.
