A CHURCH has burst into a blaze of colour in celebration of 2,000 years of Christianity.
A festival of flowers on the theme "God's hand" is being held at the Leadgate Methodist Church, near Consett.
It features 16 floral arrangements - 12 depicting various scenes of the Hand of God. Four sections of the church have displays created by each of the four churches in the parish.
The festival will be held from 10am today and tomorrow.
