RIVERSIDE Amateur Operatic Society is presenting its 25th anniversary production next month: the Lerner and Loewe musical Brigadoon.
Set in the Highlands of Scotland, the story revolves around two Americans who find themselves lost in the hills. Suddenly, out of the mist, they spot the little village of Brigadoon, but little do they know that the village holds a great secret.
This delightful musical, filled with memorable tunes like The Heather On The Hill and Almost Like Being In Love, not only has a wonderful storyline, but beautiful sets as well.
It will be held at the Park View Community Theatre from May 9 to 13 at 7.20pm. Tickets are priced at £5, with concessions at £4.
Bookings can be made now through any member or by contacting the secretary on (0191) 4105895
