AN inquest was opened yesterday into the death of a North-East man on a Greek holiday island.
Christopher Rochester, 24, of Ullswater Road, Chester-le-Street, died on Rhodes on June 11.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out but no cause of death has yet been registered.
Adjourning the hearing, North Durham coroner Andrew Tweddle warned the family it could take weeks or even months before any information about the circumstances of the death is forthcoming from the Greek authorities
