A DANCE school is celebrating a birthday milestone with a toe-tapping extravaganza.
It is the tenth anniversary of the formation of Spennymoor-based Joanne Banks' Dance School, and this weekend students will put on their dancing shoes for a performance called Decadance.
They show will star senior dancers who joined the school as tiny tots when it first opened. They will be among the 140 dancers performing favourite hits from previous shows at the Newcastle Playhouse.
Joanne set up her school at the age of 19, after travelling the world performing in cabarets and musicals.
Dancing feet run in the family: Joanne's cousin has just returned from a world cruise where she worked as a performer, and is to star in a production of Cinderella.
Decadance will be performed at 7pm on Friday, and 2pm and 7pm on Saturday
