A FAMILY day of Medieval fun and games is on offer at Kirkleatham Old Hall Museum in Redcar on Sunday.
Top British Medieval show team Rosa Mundi , which is based in Redcar, will feature archery, swordfighting, food, and much more from the days of King Richard III.
The group has appeared on television, working on the Time Team programme and more recently on a programme for the Discovery channel.
Adjacent to the free family Medieval day will be the British Steel Family Gala, being held at Kirkleatham showfield. The event runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
Mark Simmons, museum officer at Redcar and Cleveland Council, said: "People who are going to the gala can have a five-minute stroll through the Medieval event.
"If gala visitors can't find a car parking space, the car park at the hall will be open to visitors."
