"SCHOOLS from across the North East will be facing a tough military assignment tomorrow as they take part in an adventure challenge.
Teams from thirteen schools are meeting at Richmond Castle for the Green Howards Museum's Inter-schools Adventurous Sports Challenge.
Each group of ten students will be tackling six tests of physical and mental skills.
They will include a mountain bike obstacle course and leadership tasks.
Prizes for the contest will be awarded by Richmond Mayor, John Harris.
Major Roger Chapman, of the Green Howards regimental museum, said: "Every school taking part is very enthusiastic.
