l In an inter-league game at Hartlepool the Hartlepool Veterans League defeated the East Durham League by 104 shots to 91.
North Eastern Women's League
Visiting Hartlepool in the league, Blackhall women's club lost by 74 shots to 63. Each side won two rinks and Hartlepool as winners of the game, collected three points to Blackhall's two.

In another league game Blackhall entertained Brinkburn (Hartlepool) and won by 63 shots to 53.
Each side won two rinks and as winners of the game Blackhall collected three points to Brinkburn's two.

Crook Town League
It was all change at the top of the First Division when Crook Belle Vue edged to the top, just one point ahead of Crook Coach and Horses A and Crook Royal Sun A, with both having a match in hand.
Crook Olde Horse Shoe B moved up to share second place in the Second Division table after they won in the decider on their visit to Crook Queen's Head B.
The home side had points from Wayne Abbott, Chris Pounder and Wayne Harker while Dave Leighton, Gary Bainbridge and Peter Clement replied. In the decider Shoe's James Ivil beat Steven Tyres.
Crook Royal Sun B still lead the Second Division but they now only have a one point advantage over Crook Surtees and the Olde Horse Shoe B.

Tow Law Cattle Mart B continued their good start to the season when they only dropped one point to the visiting Tow Law New Market B.
There were wins for Alison Hopps, Heather Laing, Angela Yeoman and Sylvia Goodall while the only point for the visitors came from David Spencer.
Sunniside Comedian lead by a point from the Cattle Mart B, who are three points ahead of their A team.
