A TEAM of sixth formers organised a sports day this week for youngsters from five primary schools.
About 150 year five pupils spent the day at Sedgefield Community College as part of Ecclesiastical Insurance's Top Links Festival of Sport.
Headteacher John Tomlinson said the ten sixth formers, who are pursuing a community sports leaders' award, had been working on the event since February.
The youngsters came from the college's five main feeder schools, Fishburn Primary, Hardwick Primary, Sedgefield Primary, Bishop Middleham Primary and Trimdon Junior School.
