PUPILS from primary schools in Middlesbrough are using story-telling to get in the mood for the town's multi-cultural festival next month.
As part of this year's Mela event, the children from eight schools will be transported to the East in a series of storytelling workshops given by writer and poet Debjani Chattergee.
Debjani, who was born in India, often works in schools, libraries and community centres.
