Boddingtons Durham Coast League U-15
Seaham Park had the better of Murton, winning by seven wickets as David Morton took four wickets for four runs in four overs.
Akhtar, McGinn and Singh all took two wickets as Murton were bowled out for 54 and although Tom Elliott claimed two wickets for eight runs in four overs, Seaham Park went on to win by seven wickets.
The highest score of the night was made by Castle Eden who overtook Peterlee's 77 with three wickets in hand. John Spellman, a regular in the first team, top scored with 27 out of his team's total of 79 for seven. Adam Maddison bowled a good line and length for Peterlee, his four overs yielding the outstanding figures of four for 16 while Dane Wilson had two for 15 which also came in a four-over spell.
Batting first, Peterlee were all out for 77 which included a top scoring 24 by Chris Brown. David Brown returned three for 21, McGee had two for 17 and Glaister two for six for Castle Eden.
Bill Quay romped home without losing a wicket when they entertained Boldon CA. Faced with a target of 69, they finished on 73 without loss as Hussain carried his bat for 38 and Lambert contributed 21 not out.
When they made first use of the wicket Boldon CA managed just 68 for eight with Fraser scoring 29. McVay, with three for 15 was the most successful Bill Quay bowler.
At Dawdon, Easington made just 43 for six as Jamie Greenwood took two wickets for two runs in three overs and Karl Scott had two for seven, also from three overs. Dawdon went on to win by four wickets when Graeme McBeth scored 21 while Easington's Hunt took two for ten in four overs.
3-D Cricket Durham County League U-15
A half century by Andy Covnery, who finished with 54 including six boundaries, and 34 not out by Chris Pratt earned Hunwick a decisive victory when they visited Brandon. Hunwick posted the formidable total of 124 for two and then restricted Brandon to just 61 for seven.
Tudhoe were also in scoring form at home to Esh Winning, realising 120 for one as the runs flowed from Tim Smalley who recorded a six and five fours in 56 not out, David Curry (28) and Daniel Fox (21no). In response, Esh Winning could only make 56 for the loss of two wickets.
Langley Park had ten runs to spare in defeating Etherley. John Lee enabled Langley Park to reach 105 for five when he maintained his form scoring, making 48. Adam Lyall sent down five overs for Etherley and returned two for 35 while Michael Stout had two for 29, also in a five over spell.
When Etherley batted they put up a good performance but at the close had totalled 95 for six which included 46 (five fours) by Ashley Raine. Adam Lyall had three boundaries in 19 but Langley Park just edged the result when Wilkinson took two wickets for 16 runs in three overs.
Ian Thompson carried his bat for 40 out of a total of just 57 when Mainsforth met Crook Town for whom Chris Guy had the outstanding figures of four for seven and Michael Cooper had two for four. Crook Town won losing just one wicket as Michael Dunn (26no) and Michael Fawcett (16) formed an unbeaten second wicket partnership.
Moore, who struck one six and five fours in 51 and Evans, whose 23 included three boundaries, propelled Willington to a match-winning 118 at Ushaw Moor who were pegged to 51 for nine when Bell had the outstanding figures of four for six in two overs.
Runs were at a premium when Bishop Auckland took first innings at Sedgefield. They were restricted to 39 for eight and replying Sedgefield won conceding just one wicket when Nick Hughes contributed 20 runs.
Tyneside Charity Bowl
Blyth sprang a suprirse when they defeated Annfield Plain to reach the third round. Plain started as favourites and at the halfway stage were in an excellent position as they posted 125 for the loss of two wickets.
Sean Ackermann top scored with an unbeaten 27 and captain Donald Brown added 37 not out.
In reply, Blyth edged to victory with their eighth pair at the wicket. Keith Saddler gave the innings impetus with an undefeated 34 and Rowland Vermeulen maintained his form contributing 36.
Greenside, who are enjoying a much better season, also went through when they won by eight wickets at Consett. Stuart Graham top scored with 46 recording almost half of Consett's 95 for three while for Greenside Lee Innes claimed two of the three wickets to fall for only 16 runs.
Replying, Greenside were indebted to the Innes brothers. Gary ended unbeaten on 35 and Lee contributed an excellent 43.
Blaydon had little trouble seeing off Chopwell. The home side were pegged to 86 for two and replying Blaydon won losing three wickets as Ian Somerville top scored with 30.
There was an exciting finish to the second round tie between South Northumberland and Shotley Bridge with Chris Scott in fine form with the bat for South with North adding 52 to his team's total of 114 for seven. Peter Collingwood bowled a good end for Shotley Bridge taking three for 23, despite top scoring with 36 he could not steer his side to victory and South won by the narrow margin of three runs.
Felling had six wickets to spare defeating Percy Main whose 116 for five included 60 by Shinde Masood Mirza. The Felling professional then cracked an undefeated 66 and although Mark Chisman took three of the four wickets to fall for 36 runs, it was Felling who went through into the next round.
The game between Whickham and Sacriston ended in a tie.

Fosters Northumberland U-15
Ashington reached 138 for four when they entertained Tynedale who were then all out for just 78.
Ben Harmison top scored with 35, Paul Straker carried his bat for 25 and Ross Sample contributed 38 to Ashington's big total.
Responding, Tynedale never got to grips with their huge task and although Philips and Paylor both scored 17 they ended 60 runs behind the home side.
Chris Appleby had figures of two for seven and Ross Sample two for five in the Ashington attack.
Morpeth lost one wicket in reaching 114 against Ponteland as Wilkinson ended undefeated on 38. Flood added 34 and Elliott 24 and in reply Ponteland finished 12 runs short at 102 for eight.
Most of their runs came from Chris Dalton with a well played innings of 46 while for Morpeth Elliott took three for 25 in six overs and Flood completed a good night by capturing two wickets for 24 runs from five overs.
NatWest Tyne League
Haltwistle still have a four- point lead over Haydon Bridge at the top despite losing to their rivals by nine wickets.
Batting first, Haltwistle were restricted to 119 for nine by the bowling of Marshall whose four wickets cost just 28 runs and Stevenson, who returned four for 37. Clark top scored with 39 and Parker made 29 but the pair were completely over-shadowed by Kendrew, whose unbeaten 100 came in a total of 125 for one when Haydon Bridge responded.
Allendale were dismissed for 90 in 32 overs by the bowling of Ian Darling who, in 16 overs, returned the excellent figures of seven for 33. Humshaugh went on to record victory without losing a wicket in 28 overs as Alan Murray carried his bat for 30 with four fours and Neil Arnup recorded eight boundaries in 52 not out.
Matfen scored a healthy 210 for six and then reduced Stocksfield to 140 all out. Lowes took three for 48 and Bass three for 32 in the Matfen attack. When the home side batted first and posted 210 for six most of the runs came from Buckton with 74, Rowell (35) and Mathers (28).
