The fixture programme reaches the halfway point today . Hetton Lyons, currently in second position, will be disappointed they were unable to end up as winners last weekend.
Having captured nine Durham City wickets they failed by the narrowest of margins to record their fourth victory and lost the opportunity to go top in their first season.
Today, the Lyons travel to Horden and will do well to continue their present form. They are able to name an unchanged side again and their opponents will look to return to winning ways after losing touch with the leading pack.
Seaham Harbour expect to include Nigel Gleghorn at South Shields. Gleghorn played football for Stoke and Burnley before moving into his current role as a football pundit.
He is in the North-East and Seaham have grabbed the opportunity to include him.
With Neil McKinney and Shaun McKenna still missing Gleghorn's inclusion will be particularly welcomed.
South Shields are minus wicket-keeper batsman David Bell. He broke a finger in two places last weekend and his deputy behind the stumps will be Scott Oliver.
Veteran bowler Alan Stevenson is also out through injury and Lee Whalley is dropped. The places are taken by Jeff Clark, Neil Pearce and promising youngster David Maughan.
Felling are unchanged for their game at Whitburn. This means leading batsman Mark Blunt is absent for the second game.
Whitburn are strengthened by the return of Tony Shields along with Neil Johnson and David Shaw. All three missed their side's poor display last week and skipper
Paul Shields will be expecting a greater level of commitment from his batsmen today.
David Abdy and Eden Elstob are not available and Tony Thirwall plays in the second XI.
Leaders and champions Burnmoor are still minus Gary Brown so John Stoker joins his brother Graeme in their line-up. Burnmoor's biggest worry though centres around front-line bowlers Des Beach and Liam Graham.
Both have groin injuries and their absence would provide considerable problems for Burnmoor at Durham City. John Tindale also has a nagging hamstring injury which could further hinder the Moors.
Philadelphia go to Eppleton with doubts surrounding wicket-keeper Phil Empson.
Skipper Andrew Robinson has a shoulder injury so Mark Moore and 16-year old John Grant stand by.
