TEN real ales from across the UK will be featured at an annual real ale festival to be staged in County Durham this weekend.
The festival, which has been organised by Sedgefield Community Association Social Club, opens at the town's Ceddesfeld Hall on Friday with a barbecue and entertainment by the Blue Jays Folk Group from 8pm.
On Saturday the ale and cider celebration runs from 3pm with a barbecue from 4pm and live jazz in the evening by the Steve Windross Trio.
On Sunday the festival is open from noon to 3pm.
"We have even gone to the continent to search for an ale and found a Real White in Belgium," said social club secretary Ray Barron. "This adds to the beers from as far afield as Kent and the Orkneys."
The festival has been running for seven years. Admission is free.
