WORKERS have been taking it easy in the name of raising money for charity.
Staff at Darlington Bedding Centre raised £100 for St Teresa's Hospice in the town by spending the day in bed.
The company challenged people to take time out of their working day to spend time in bed in aid of the hospice.
The centre's staff, along with representatives of St Teresa's and Sherwood's of Darlington, all took part.
Darlington Bedding Centre's managing director Stuart Clark handed over a cheque for £100 to hospice chairman Alasdair MacConachie. Mr Clark said: "People dream about going back to bed when they are at work, so this must have been a dream come true.
