PEOPLE who have experienced mental health problems are putting on an art display in Redcar Library.
The artists attend Redcar and Cleveland Mind's arts and crafts sessions at Redcar Day Service at Dove House, in Turner Street.
The service provides an informal and peaceful environment for people to work with volunteers and artists. The work includes paintings, sketches and poetry.
Sharon Street, day service manager, said: "Support and encouragement has meant that people have had new opportunities to explore and discover their creative potential and enhance their confidence and self-esteem.
"Any of us can experience mental health problems and we hope that this exhibition can inspire us to know and believe that everyone is also an artist."
The exhibition runs until July 22. Further details about Redcar and Cleveland Mind are available on (01642) 296055
