AN unusual rock concert this week will showcase some of the musical stars of the future.
The first students to complete the initial year of the Foundation Programme in Contemporary Music at Middlesbrough College will be performing tomorrow, from 8pm.
The event, at the Zetland Hotel, Marske, is free, and it is hoped people will go, to support the students. Young musicians interested in the course are encouraged to attend.
Senior course tutor Steve Hoggart said: "The music industry is a difficult but rewarding industry.
"Anyone who wants to work as a musician should speak to the students, because there's nothing else like this in the UK."
