PETER Barratt's Garden Centre in Stockton has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new warehouse manager.
Mark Campbell, 31, from Thornaby, is responsible for dealing with suppliers, checking in goods and making deliveries.
As well as furthering his career, Mark is looking forward to picking up some top tips and putting them into practice in his own garden.
He said: "I am delighted to be working at Peter Barratt's Garden Centre. I have recently moved house to a property with a large garden, so I am hoping to pick up some tips from the other staff at the garden centre."
He added: "They have an excellent reputation as an employer and stock a huge selection of plants and garden accessories, so my days will always be varied and interesting."
Mark has worked as an overnight supervisor for a local cable company and spent some time stationed in Germany with the army.
