A NOTICE board has been dedicated to the memory of an amateur historian and community figure, who died in April.
The Mayor of Middlesbrough, Kath Bevington, unveiled a notice board in Stewart Park yesterday, erected in memory of Fred Lumb.
Mr Lumb, a keen amateur historian, was involved in a variety of community groups and projects.
The notice board is sponsored by the Middlesbrough Temperance Society, which was also supported by Mr Lumb.
Members of Mr Lumb's family and friends attended the ceremony to unveil the notice board
