GETTING their first haircut was child's play for triplets Rachel, Rebecca and Jessica Dinsley.
The test tube babies have had the first of many trims at the Saks salon in Blackwellgate, Darlington.
Their mother Andrea, 28, of Skeldale Grove, Darlington, said: "They were very brave about their first haircut and I am really proud of them. They only had a bit taken off their fringes."
Saks senior stylist Tracy Mallon said: "They kept some hair as a souvenir and we are looking forward to cutting their hair for many years to come."
Rachel, Rebecca and Jessica were born after Andrea and her 33-year-old husband, Michael, had In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) treatment at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. They were one of the last couples to receive treatment at the hospital's Centre for Reproductive Medicine.
Rachel, Rebecca and Jessica are 14 months old.
"We only have three bedrooms, so it means one of the triplets has to sleep in a cot downstairs," said Andrea.
"It might cause a problem when they get older and want a room of their own."
