FEARS are growing for the safety of a man who has been missing for more than a week.
David Robertson, 44, was last seen on Wednesday, July 5, at Queensway Medical Centre, Billingham, where he had gone to collect his medication.
He did not receive his medication and left in an agitated state.
Inspector Mick Walker, who is leading the inquiry, said: "We are becoming increasingly worried about him because he has no money and is in a confused state of mind, which makes him very vulnerable."
Mr Robertson, was last seen in Wolviston Back Lane, near the cemetery in Cowbridge Lane, Billingham, by a relative on Monday.
Mr Robertson, is described as 5ft 6in, of stocky build, with long mousey brown hair down to the middle of his back. He has blue eyes and was clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a green wax jacket.
Insp Walker said: "If any members of the public do spot Mr Robertson we ask them not to approach him, because of his confused state.
"Instead they should contact the Stockton Resource Centre on (01642) 302226."
