THE netball teams throughout the school have enjoyed a lot of success during the past academic year.
This season, there were teams in years seven to 11, all of which competed in the Stockton District Netball Leagues.
The year nine team won their district tournament and all their league matches, and so qualified for the league finals, but unfortunately they were beaten.
The year ten team also qualified for their league finals, which they won. This team remains unbeaten since joining the school.
There have also been a number of girls selected to represent the district this season. They are Christina Sledmore and Emma Wilson, from year nine, and Kirsty McDonald and Lindsey Dodd, from year ten.
In addition, Hayley Oliver and Lisa Stirling, from year eight, and Nicola Graham and Gemma Calvert, from year ten, were selected to compete in the Millennium Games.
Sally May, PE teacher at the school, said: "The success of all our netball teams has been a direct result of the girls' positive attitude, dedication and superb team work.
"The teams play to an exceptionally high standard, and we look forward to continued success in every year group."
