STUDENTS have been presented with certificates for their positive attitude toward their course.
The awards were made by the health and social care department at Darlington College of Technology
The certificates were given for various achievements, including 100 per cent attendance, best placement reports and to students who have made the most progress.
One of the ways in which the programme team makes the course fun is by giving the students fundraising projects.
This year the students raised £356 for the NSPCC and £243 for the Alzheimer's Society by participating in events including sponsored silences and walks, horseriding and coffee mornings.
The cheques were presented to the charities before the certificates were awarded.
The college is now accepting enrolment for the health and social care course and other courses starting in September.
