PUPILS from schools across Middlesbrough have designs on the decoration of one of the borough's parks.
Primary school children were asked to design a logo for Albert Park, to appear on stationery and on the newly developed skating rink.
The joint winners of the competition were Louise Hamilton of St Joseph's Primary School, James Russel, of Marton Grove Primary School, Courtney Talbot, of Ayresome Junior School, and Rosie Barker, of Linthorpe Junior School.
The children's four designs will be combined into one logo for the park.
Sixteen runner-up designs were also chosen, and they will be put on flags to be flown over the new skating rink and park bowling green.
Park manager Stuart Johnston said: "I want to thank all the children who entered our logo competition.
"We had an excellent response from pupils of primary schools, and the standard of art work was very good which made choosing the winning entries extremely difficult."
