PARENTS are being reminded to book in advance to make sure their children get places on summer playschemes.
A registration day is being held tomorrow, from 9am to 1pm, at six playscheme venues across Hartlepool.
Hartlepool Borough Council is operating five of the schemes - including Mill House Leisure Centre, Raby Road; West View Project, Miers Avenue; Friarage Youth Centre on the Headland and Rossmere Youth Centre, Rossmere Way, all Hartlepool.
It is also holding one at Greatham Community Centre, High Street, Greatham.
The sixth venue, the Belle Vue Sports Centre, will be home to a voluntary-operated scheme and Bob Farrow can be contacted on (01429) 221832.
The playschemes, which are open to children aged five to 11, will run from July 31 to Friday August 25, from 9.30am to 4pm.
The council-run schemes cost £2.50 per child, per day, while children attending the Belle Vue scheme will be charged £1.50 per day, excluding transport and admission fees.
