A CONSETT beer brewer and pub landlord reckons he has blended the finest ingredients in just the right way to make the perfect pint - but he can't think of a name for it.
Paul Conroy, of The Grey Horse, is asking his regulars and the people of the county to think of a name for the lager brew before the second ever beer festival he has planned for August Bank Holiday weekend.
Whoever comes up with the winning name will receive two gallons of the brew.
Paul Conroy and his wife Rosaline have won awards for their brewery and pub, including the Durham Camera branch pub of the year.
"We really enjoy doing it but the best thing is our regulars enjoy it as well," said Mr Conroy.
"All going well we hope to sell this new beer regularly after our festival. We've done a test beer but the finished product won't be ready until just before the festival. It's a nice one, but we really need a name."
