Most of the match action centre around the River Tees last weekend and the North York south Durham Federation's annual Girsby charity event attracted the region's best turnout with 84 anglers.
The Over Dinsdale match length proved most consistent delivering double figured nets throughout as dace, roach, chub, barbel and grayling offered variety.
Cleveland Angling Centre's Peter Rambow Junior grabbed the honours by a mere 51/2 ozs weighing in 22-8-0. Pegged below Middleton One-Row village Peter alternated between meat and corn on the bomb attracting chub of all sizes from far bank willows.
A couple of lost barbel altered the result for second-placed Ian Hamer fishing Bowl Hole run-off.
The Darlington rod opted for stick float and bomb tactics using caster, maggot and corn on the hook netting a barbel of 6lbs backed by chub and roach.

Bream continue to delight anglers and on the Lower Tees and Yarm's Dave Rowden included six of his winning bag of 15-11-0 during round three of the summer league.
Tackling his swim below Mourie Wood Dave worked the pole and red maggot at nine metres. Balling ground bait in at the start worked a treat as 65 small roach came in the opening hours before the bream appeared. A change to redworm resulted in a trio of quality perch ensuring victory.
At this stage Cleveland AC B are now firmly in command and top the league table with a maximum 30 points.

Match secretary Bobby Trees led another chub dominated Thornaby event on the Middle Tees between Croft and Hurworth.
Trees, below the plantation fence, searched the gulley across on corn and waggler tempting eight similar sized specimens to lift the association's annual cup with 14-5-0.
Next came Charlie Hodgson of Darlington who drew on the groynes and float fished caster, netting chub but of a smaller stamp totalling 13-10-0.
Marske's Trevor Smith stormed to success on the Swale taking Northallerton's Rutson Cup at Scruton recording 31lbs. Float fishing caster in the streams above the village bend four chub responded holding off RSPS anglers Mattie Prudhoe 20lbs 4ozs, and Kevin Weighell 18-2-0.

Lockwood Beck Reservoir hit top form for the latest round of the Quali-Tri Ferryhill Bank Masters.
A super rainbow of 7-15-8 steered Newcastle's Kevin Landsley to victory on 18-9-0. Fishing near the Holly Bush and on a dam wall, cats whisker and black buzzard added another five trout.
Harlelpool's Peter Crowe came close behind, taking eight rainbows for 17-9-0 from Kevin Dinnon, Newcastle, eight fish for 16-5-0.
Jubilee Lakes Redworth: Vistiors enjoyed splendid sport. Two big rainbows landed one of 20lbs 5ozs grassed by John McClafferty of South Shields on an orange fritz. The other 18-8-0 fell to Mickley's Chris Bruce on a min Dawsons' Olive.
Best pattern gold head damsel, sunken daddy longlegs and buzzers.
