FINE ALES, fresh food and entertainment are on offer at the four-day Wear Valley's CAMRA Beer Festival in Bishop Auckland Town Hall which started last night.
Beers include a specially brewed Festival Special from the Darwin Brewery at Crook.
Live bands play each night. Tonight's (Thursday) Jazz Night is free and features Lewis Watson and Dave Borthwick.
Locass, Citizen Kane and People Soup play on Friday when tickets are £5 and £4 for concessions and CAMRA members.
Saturday's Wild West night has line dancing and tickets are £6 / £4.
Chef Mike Whitehead cooks up some special recipes on Friday using ingredients from a Farmers' Market opening at 10am and the Butterwick Hospice has organised a range of street entertainment.
