THE launch of a business club in Stockton has proved a great success.
Business advisors from Stockton's food and environmental advice unit went out in fancy dress to promote the Food for Thought business club, earlier this month.
Thanks to the promotion, more than 35 food businesses attended a launch at the Tall Trees Hotel, Yarm.
The club offers food businesses the chance to network with each other and provides advice and training.
Members will benefit from regular newsletters, seminars and forums, keeping them up to date with food issues.
Judith Sunderland, from the food and environmental advice unit, said: "The turn-out for the business club was great. It should be a recipe for success."
Any food businesses wanting to join the club, or just needing advice can contact the unit, for a free consultation, on (01642) 391142
