LEISURE centres have reported a huge interest in children's holidays activities.
Hambleton District Council's leisure centres have seen their organised events prove more popular than ever during the school holidays.
Manager of Hambleton leisure centre in Northallerton, Richard Dowson, said: "Traditional sports like trampolining, canoeing and short tennis have been going well.
"But the real growth area at all the leisure centres has been in the more unusual activities like Jog Jog and Jump, the Chinese Empire, and circus day."
Planned activities include Dinosaurs at Hambleton, It's a Knockout at Stokesley, Horse Riding and Adventure Day at Bedale, and Modelling Mayhem at Thirsk swimming pool
