A DISPLAY of military equipment will be on show in Redcar today to show residents what life in the Army is like.
The Green Howards regiment will be in the pedestrian precinct of Redcar High Street all day to talk to shoppers.
A Warrior armoured personnel carrier and an Army quad bike will be on display in the High Street and two Green Howard buglers will perform to show the more ceremonial aspects of Army life.
The regiment's information caravan will display photographs of infantry in action, as well as some of the sporting and social opportunities provided in the Army.
Captain Steve Mincher, of the Green Howards, said: "We look forward to showing everyone the exciting life that the modern infantry offers."
