A HEALTH organisation in east Durham is opening its doors to the public to update people on its progress.
Easington Primary Care Group was formed last year to look after the health of 100,000 people across the district.
The group is a sub-committee of County Durham and Darlington Health Authority, and is made up of GPs, nurses, a social worker, a member of the public, a health authority member and a chief executive.
The group is holding an open day on Friday, between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, at its offices in Seaside Lane, Easington.
The event will follow the opening of the group's boardroom, named after member Aidan Ord, who died last year.
