A STONE display marking the site of a town's millennium time capsule has been unveiled.
An image of the Royal George locomotive is the centrepiece of the display in Hackworth Park, Shildon. It will provide a reminder of the time capsule, which has been filled with artefacts designed to capture the spirit of Shildon at the dawn of the new millennium.
The Shildon Millennium Committee worked with two local companies on the display. Sharcon Classic Paving created the centrepiece and the capsule was produced by Aycliffe Fabrication.
