THESPIANS from north Durham will be the only theatre group with disabled and able-bodied people at the Edinburgh Festival next week.
Members of the Special Needs Unity Group, at Stanley will take their Murder and Marmalade show to the festival for ten days, from Saturday.
Last year, the group was awarded the Lotto Dream award at the festival.
The show was written by chairman John Hails. It follows an investigation by "the surreptitious seven" after disappearances of customers from a cafe run by three old ladies.
The show's songs include a reworking of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody
