Tow Law have been given a boost by defender Micky Bailey who has declared himself fit for the new campaign.
Full back Bailey considered retiring at the end of the season because of injury, but a visit to his doctor has persuaded him to change his mind.
Lawyers new manager Graeme Forster said: "We're pleased because we thought that Micky would have to finish playing. We need a player of his experience in the new season."
However, Lawyers have lost former Darlington and Hartlepool striker John Borthwick, who has decided to hang up his boots after nearly 20 years in the game at various levels.
Forster has signed two players -- full back Marc Eccles from Crook Town and striker Peter Maughan from Evenwood, and is working on another two.
But hopes of Jarrod Suddick, Tony Nelson and Stephen Pickering all returning have been hit because all three have signed contracts for Scottish League club Queen of the South.

l Billingham Synthonia came from behind to defeat Richmond Town in a midweek friendly.
David Jones scored for Richmond and Chris Fawcett scored a close-range equaliser. Chris McFee put Synners ahead and Andy Ripley completed thier win.
Sythonia are at home to Shotton Comrades in a friendly ttomorrow (3pm).
