Broughton and Kirby still lead following their 97-runs home victory over Swainby, who share bottom position with Ingleby Greenhow.
Batting first, the leaders posted 187 for eight in 40 overs as the runs flowed from Andre White (42), Andrew Robinson (38), Roger Briddock (38) and Keith Robinson, six boundaries in 30.
Mark Kerr bowled a good end for Swainby and in ten overs captured three for 55 while Les Clemmitt returned thee for 41 from nine overs.
When they replied, Swainby were all out for 90 as John Harris captured three for 47 and Roger Briddock seven for 34.
Maltby are second and they had seven wickets to spare in overtaking Kildale's 121 all out. Peirson top scored with 37 and Sonley added 26 to the Kildale total. Covell was in good form for Maltby, climing five for 29 while Close had three for 27.
Responding, Maltby romped home, losing three wickets. Barber gave the side a good start making 20 and his opening partner Close added 20 before Hutchinson made 34 as Morrow finished undefeated on 27.
Ingelby Greenhow won for only the third time, defeating Stafford Place by 59 runs when they bowled their opponents for 87. Parkin captured five for 47 and Fawcett took three for 19 after Ingleby Greenhow had realised 146 for six with runs down the order from Hodgson (25), Parkin (23), Staples (24) and Fawcett 21 not out.
Hutton Rudby hosted East Harlsey and it was the visitors who won a low scoring game by two wickets. When Hutton Rudby went in to bat first they were all out for 99 and the top score was 22 by opening bat Bailey before Smith added a late 26.
Grange struck for East Harlsey when he took six for 46 and Shaw returned three for 49.
After Mason had opened the East Harlsey reply scoring 25, wickets fell but Raper held the innings together with 30 and East Harlsey won with their ninth pair at the wicket. Reed took three for 13 and Dennis two for 39 for Hutton Rudby.
The game between Crathorne and Thimbleby ended in a draw. Batting first the home side totalled 151 for two declared when Marshall who opened the innings ended unbeaten on 44. Mooney added 36 and Clemmitt was top scorer with 58.
Thimbleby were in grave danger of losing when time was called. They managed 54 for eight as Leng took three for nine, Clemmitt two for 33 and Patterson picked up a couple of wickets while conceding just one run.
Little play was possible when Kirby Sigston totalled 48 without loss at home to Chopgate before the match was abandoned because or rain.
NatWest Tyne League
Haydon Bridge still lead the despite losing by four wickets to visitors Allendale. The home batsmen struggled but 22 by Ian Watson and 25 from Gibson enabled them to make a modest 109 for nine as Rutherford claimed four for 38 runs, Richardson took three for 20 and Thirwell had two for 38.
Rutherford was man of the match, batting throughout Allendale's innings finishing on 50 out of his side's match winning total of 115 for five. He shared an unbroken fifth wicket stand with Lee, who remained 21 not out.
Wylam made 111 all out from 37 overs at home to Matfen and the top scorer was Peter Dodman with five fours in 31. Mark Rowell bowled a good end for Matfen and in eight overs collected five for 30 while Irving had three for 26.
Matfen were in a good position on 58 without loss following 20 overs when the match was abandoned because of rain. Opening batsman Paul Wright hit four boundaries in an unbeaten 30.
Stocksfield batted first at home to Humshaugh and realised 132 for eight but the total proved insufficient as the visitors went on to win by nine wickets. Newman top scored with 51 and Castlelow added 30 to the Stocksfield innings while for Humshaugh Ridley returned the excellent figures of seven for 49.
When Humshaugh responded they were within sight of victory when they lost their one and only wicket, that of Murray who was stumped after making 79.
