A CHARITY cake stall at Northallerton market sold out in just two hours, raising £131 for Macmillan nurses.
The stall was organised by staff from the Broadacres Housing Association customer services centre, who presented the cash to nurse Pam Thorne, a Macmillan nurse, based at the Friarage Hospital, in Northallerton.
She said: "Donations such as this help us to support the three Macmillan nurses and one palliative nurse in our work in this area.
"This cash may help to offset the costs of alterations to a house; help pay higher heating bills in someone's home owing to illness; or assist in paying towards the cost of convalescence."
