SIX people were arrested yesterday on suspicion of burglary and robbery after police raided houses in Hartlepool.
More than 15 officers, from the Crime Intelligence Unit, CID and community policing teams raided five houses in the town centre and Owton Manor areas of the town at 8am.
Four men and two women, aged between 17 and 29, were arrested on suspicion of committing house burglaries and robbery. Five were in custody in Hartlepool last night.
One of them, a 29-year-old man, has been charged with house burglary and has been bailed to appear at Hartlepool Magistrates' Court tomorrow. The others were still being questioned by detectives yesterday
