CHILDREN from around the region have been learning how to play the world's biggest craze.
Pokemon fever hit Safeway stores in Darlington and Redcar on Saturday when experts in the game showed youngsters how to improve their skills.
The stores' coffee shops became official Pokemon training areas and children were able to take the certified coach test to win a Pokemon trainer badge.
Lessons in Pokemon story writing were also on offer as were art classes, quizzes and a Pokemon maze.
All those who took part were given Pokemon goodies and were entered in a draw to win special game prizes.
