A FUN day will be held at the Stephenson Railway Museum, in Middle Engine Lane, Newcastle, on Sunday, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Tyne and Wear Metro.
As well as rides on the steam train, visitors will be able to enjoy a bouncy castle, soft play area and face painting.
The museum is open daily until Sunday, September 24, except Fridays.
It is open Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays between 11am and 4pm, and weekdays between 11am and 3pm. Admission is free.
Train fares are £2 for adults, £1 for children and £5 for a family ticket.
