PAST and present members of the ladies' section at Bishop Auckland Golf Club turned out in force for a special photograph to mark the millennium.
The ladies' section has been established for more than 75 years and the sport is proving as popular as ever for all ages. There are 97 playing women members, and more than 30 non-playing. The club has so far enjoyed a millennium summer ball and a visit from the Bishop of Durham, the Right Reverend Michael Turnbull, to mark the year 2000. Members celebrated the club's centenary in 1994.
