TWO walkers are seeking sponsorship for their walk up Ben Nevis in aid of the British Epilepsy Association.
At 1,344 metres, or 4,408ft, Ben Nevis is Britain's highest mountain and is the challenge for Derek Bates and Eddie Tierney, of Billingham.
They will take about eight hours, including five hours for the actual climb, to reach the summit on Friday, October 6.
Mr Bates is a technical officer with Stockton Borough Council, and Mr Tierney a former Cleveland Police officer, now working for the Prison Service.
To sponsor the adventurers contact (01642) 898842.
