DETECTIVES hunting three sex attackers on Wearside have renewed their appeal for information.
Officers believe there are still witnesses to come forward who could lead them to a rapist who attacked a 15-year-old girl on a footbridge.
The teenager was set upon on July 2 as she walked on the bridge over the A1231 Sunderland Highway, from Blackfell to Oxclose. A man dragged her into bushes where she was raped.
The attacker is described as 25 to 30 years old, slim, clean shaven, with dark hair and a Wearside accent.
Police are also hunting two men who bundled a 22-year-old woman into a car at The Galleries, Washington, on August 9. Detectives believe local people may have seen the woman walking around at 6pm on the night of the attack. She was wearing a blue jumper, jeans and training shoes.
Anyone with information should call Washington CID on (0191) 4547555
