ONE of the country's leading academics is to pass on his expert knowledge to hundreds of East Durham teachers.
Neuro psychologist Dr Roy Paget will be travelling to Peterlee next month where he will head a one-day training session for 350 teaching staff, teachers' assistants and school administration workers.
The day is seen as a new beginning for Peterlee schools, which are now included in an education action zone.
Dr Paget is an expert in the educational and academic achievements of schoolchildren.
He has devoted his life's work to raising human potential and personal effectiveness, and is a highly respected author, lecturer, TV and radio personality and consultant.
A group of more than 30 children will also be helping Dr Paget on September 4
