PERFORMERS are going back to school this summer to brush up on their dancing and singing skills. Choreographer Lisa Torun is teaching 14 to 25-year-olds - including 18-year-old Gemma Wynne, of Jarrow, Tyneside, dance and voice work as part of the Sunderland Dance Initiative Summer School. Pupils will also take part in choreography and theatre workshops at Sunderland University's dance studio this week. The free event will end with a performance for family and friends of those taking part. Lisa, originally from Sweden, is based in London and is a regular performer in the capital's clubs. This week's school is supported by DanceCity, the dance agency for the North. Picture: MIKE URWIN
