ONE of the region's colleges is holding a series of adult education classes which begin next month.
Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College, in Darlington, will be holding adult advice and enrolment sessions for students interested in evening courses on Tuesday, September 5, between 2pm and 6pm, Monday, September 11, between 5pm and 8pm, and Wednesday, September 13, between 5pm and 8pm.
The evening programme begins the week starting September 18, and there will be a wide range of subjects available at different levels.
One-year courses are offered in A-level history, law and English Literature, and the new A/S Levels in art, music, sociology, Spanish, biology, maths, science and English Language.
There will also be access to higher education in business studies, psychology, and GCSEs in German, French, Spanish, maths, science and English Language.
There are also vocational courses, including a diploma in payroll administration, computerised book-keeping, counselling and computing.
Short courses are available in holiday French, German and Spanish, and there are introductions to the stockmarket, Powerpoint, Web Authoring and Photoshop.
For the more artistic, there is painted fabric and still life drawing and painting.
