YOUNGSTERS in Grangetown had Stars In Their Eyes last night as they transformed themselves into a variety of pop superstars.
The Teenyboppers, aged between nine and 14, have devised their own routines to songs by their favourite pop stars including 5ive, S Club 7, Lolly, Atomic Kitten, Abba and Steps, with a little assistance from centre helpers Pat Rushby and Michelle Elcoate.
The children also put their acting skills into practice and re-enacted a scene from the blockbuster movie Titanic. The show was held to boost funds for the national charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young.
It was the youngsters' second charity performance and they hope they have beaten the £200 they raised for the charity at their first concert.
And Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Mayor and Mayoress, Arthur and Iris Dobson, were guests of honour at the concert
