Tow Law Bass League
The first three maximums of the new season came from the New Market A, where Darren Yeoman and Alan Smith were the marksmen and Sunniside Comedian's Jim Smythe.
Billy Row Club look to have assembled a strong squad and beat the visiting Cornsay Royal Oak by five points with J Heathcote making the quickest finish of the week with 14 darts.
Besides the maximums the leading individual scores were J Heathcote three 140's, B Slater two 140's, A Trotter, J Sneath and D Byrne 140 each for Billy Row Club, J Ridley 140 for the Comedian, C Boughey and CA Boughey 140 each for the Cattle Mart and L Hope 140 for the Station. Jeff Sneath made the best start, including a double, with 152 for Billy Row Club.

Crook Ladies League
Crook Coach and Horses extended their lead to fourteen points at the top of the table when they only dropped a couple of points at Crook Cricket Club. Tow Law New Market B are in second spot, four points ahead of Tow Law Black Horse.

Wear Valley Ladies League
Crook Mill House started the new season in the best possible way - they whitewashed the visiting Crook Coach and Horses. The Crook Three Blue bells came close to matching the Mill's win when they only dropped one point at Bar 56, the new name for the old Crook Hotel team.
The leading individual scorer was Michelle Lowe with 135 for the Blue Bells.
